Featured questions
The three things Trades ask us first.
What does TradeTrax actually ask me to do on the job site?
Very little. Your crew checks in on arrival and checks out when the job is complete — and your office team can post the same updates from a browser.
Does it work without cell service or Wi-Fi?
Yes. If you're in a community with limited connectivity, the data is retained and updated when connectivity is re-established.
What if my crew lead doesn't speak English?

Trade FAQs
Everything Trade crews and crew leads ask before — and after — they roll TradeTrax out on their jobs.
Getting started
How Trades get on the platform in the first place.
A builder must invite you. When the builder begins to use TradeTrax you'll be notified, onboarded, and trained. It is a simple process and designed for Trades.
On the job
What your crews — and office staff — actually do in TradeTrax, and what the builder sees on the other end.
Very little. Your crew simply checks in to the job upon arrival and checks out when the job is complete. If you have office staff who prefer to manage updates from a desk, they can do the same from a browser — same job, same data.
Yes, it works without cell service or Wi-Fi. If you are in a community with limited connectivity, the data is retained and updated when connectivity is re-established.
Both. Your crews check in and log progress from the field on mobile; your office team can track everything from a desktop browser. One platform, wherever you work.
La plataforma es multilingüe en móvil y escritorio, incluyendo español.
TradeTrax provides full job transparency for the builder and all Trades. Although the builder can see who on the crew provided an update, other Trades can only see the status of a particular task.
Not at all. Check-in is quicker than a text, done by one person — your crew lead — from the field on mobile or the office on desktop.
Trades can always correct a mistake the crew may have made.
Onboarding
From "invite received" to "first job logged" — what to expect.
Builders first provide us a list of their Trades, then we create your TradeTrax account and invite you to add other members of your team. We conduct training sessions to familiarize your team with the platform and are available to help with any questions or issues during and after the onboarding process.
The onboarding process for TradeTrax is simple and can be completed in less than 5 minutes. As soon as your team is set up they can get started. User training sessions are typically 15 minutes.
No, there are no additional costs associated with onboarding, training, or support. We consider it an integral part of our service to ensure you have a smooth transition and get the most out of TradeTrax.
Reporting & insights
Using TradeTrax data to run your business better.
Yes. TradeTrax gives you crew performance reports — start times, duration, on-time rates, and job counts — so you can spot underperformers, allocate your best crews strategically, and back up your pricing with real data.
